About the Artwork: This is a woodblock printed on exotic Japanese paper. Chine Colle is added in the process of printing (a piece of thin Japanese paper is embedded in the print to add depth and a shadow effect). Creating this print reminded me of seeing an image of an Orchid in shadow in my studio in the evening.
